Is filing a police report with a false name make the report false?

my boyfriend went to jail for 2 domestic violences and 4 assulalts but the guy that called the police told them lies and gave them a false name. he stalked me for a long time saying things like ' if i was your man id be holding u tonite' he followed me around i called the law ALOT. and they still did nothing. does it make the case false. because its not true. OBESSION BIG TIME.Is filing a police report with a false name make the report false?
I don't really understand that situation post this again more clearly. If a report was made on a person with the wrong name then nothing can come of it, I would need more details to understand what went down though.Is filing a police report with a false name make the report false?
a false name when calling the police is ILLEGAL.. u need to call them with your real name.. tell them whats up and tell them you need HELP. If push comes to shove and the guy still wont back off.. call 911 and tell them someone is stalking you and now u fear for your life.

Any good lawyer will have the filer of the false report subpoenaed for the actual court case. When the defense can't produce him, that evidence will probably be tossed out. The police could also choose to file charges against him. However with the charges they filed against your boyfriend, it sounds like they have more evidence than your stalker. If you boyfriend is actually guilty of domestic violence against you, why would you want him to get off.
Under some laws, it's called ';Filing a False Instruments'; and that can lead to some kind of prison term for you.

yes and it can be punishable but you'll have to prove it take him to court and let a judge decide if he is found guilty maybe they will punish him and he will leave you alone good luck
