Brand names indicates status.True of false. Why?

Status of what? Of the person using them?

Commercials lead you to believe that if you use their products you will be cool and life will be wonderful.

If you believe that and use their products maybe you will feel better about yourself and have more confidence.

In truth it doesnt matter if you buy or wear Old Navy vs the Kmart/walmart brand or buy it 2nd hand from Goodwill.

If you like the outfit or non brand name soda buy it.

Shallow people may think more of you with a Rolex watch and Armani suit, but it doesnt make you a better person. A famous con man once said ';look the part and the sheep will do anything';.Brand names indicates status.True of false. Why?
True. Whatever the point of view may be, brand names indicate status. The work, the investment and the company behind a certain brand name are all synonims of financial and economic power. It is not a manipulative tool, it is a recognition factor and it would be wrong to think of it in any other way. Branding and brands however don't necesseraly need to be associated with the top dogs of the industry, they are present at every level of the economy and they are the metric system by which you measure the quality of the COMPANY (not the product) that created that certain brand.
