When I give my info to online ads and whatnot, I use a false name. I've also subscribed to magazines with false names. Is this illegal? I don't have a false passport or anything with that name, and I've never used it for anything official. Is using a false name online and for non-official purposes illegal?
I don't imagine it is, using aliases is only really a problem when you're assuming someone else's identity, and obviously things like passports would be illegal.
